Sixty One

I got my booth assignment for the art show a couple of days ago. I am very happy to report that I have a great spot. Right in the middle of the show! I'm getting rather antsy for this show to come and go because I'm eager to know the outcome.

I have been busting my butt stocking up on clocks. I have over forty wall clocks painted, a quarter of those are finished and the rest are sealed waiting for their resin coating. I have eight molded clocks painted and sealed. I also found a great deal on wood shelving units at Michaels so I have my displays for the molded clocks already. I just need to make displays for the wall clocks, make more molded clocks, and pour the resin on the clocks. I still have five weeks to go! I'd like to make another bar stool and a matching molded bar height table as well. Stay tuned for pics!

Melting Clock Barstool

I just realized I had forgotten to post pictures of my brand new melting clock barstool. I have it on Ebay and don't really expect it to sell because shipping is expensive. It's bulky and heavy. I plan on having it at the entrance to my booth to attract attention at the art show. I want to make another and have a pair, but we'll see. I'm starting to stress about the show. There is still more stuff to do, supplies to buy, and no money to do it. I have very nice clocks available in my melting clock store!! wink, wink.

Everybody Needs A Chuckle From Time to Time

Which is why I'm sharing a link to this fabulous site: Regretsy. I've been selling on Etsy for a few years now and it never ceases to amaze me some of the things people try to sell. Well thankfully someone has taken the time to do the searching for us and share the best of the worst, uh, well the best of the WTF items that people sell on Etsy. Enjoy!
